Lawyers continue courts boycott over colleague killing

KARACHI: Lawyers continued to observe strike on Monday over the murder of former deputy secretary of Pakistan Bar Council lawyer Amir Haider Shah in Karachi,

In the appeal of the CBP, the legal community boycotted the court proceedings because the hearings in the Sindh High Court and lower courts remained suspended. However, the judges heard the important cases in their chambers. On Saturday, the lawyers had made protest the killing.

It is pertinent to mention here that Amir Haider was shot dead on Friday by unidentified assailants near Hassan Square.
