According to our correspondent, MQM Shabbir Farhan, who is in Rangers detention since his arrest on March 11, 2015, he suffered a cardiac arrest yesterday.

He was transferred to the National Institute of Cardiovascular Diseases (NICVD) where MQM workers were undergoing angioplasty. Doctors say Shabbir Farhan is improving.
The MQM activist was neck last year by paramilitary commandos during a raid on MQM headquarters Nine Zero. He faces charges of murder and illegal possession of weapons.
His cardiac arrest came five days after Rangers four men were arrested for the death of MQM worker custody, Aftab Ahmed, whose autopsy confirmed torture him, prompting the army chief Raheel Sharif to order an investigation.
