ISLAMABAD: Foreign Minister Ahmad Aizaz met with his Indian counterpart Dr. S.Jaishankar in New Delhi on Tuesday and stressed Pakistan’s commitment to friendly relations with all its neighbors, including India, in line with the vision of the first Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif.
Aizaz Chaudhry arrived in the Indian capital of Delhi Tuesday to participate in the meeting of senior officials from the heart of Asia – Istanbul Process.
“The meeting was a good opportunity to exchange views on recent developments in the bilateral context,” said the spokesman for the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Nafees Zakaria, as was announced on his official twitter account.
The spokesman said all outstanding issues were discussed, including Jammu and Kashmir.
“The FS stressed that Kashmir remains the central issue that requires only solution under UN Security Council resolutions and the wishes of the Kashmiri people,” he said.
