KARACHI: close confidant Former Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari has been accused of corruption and terrorist financing, according to an FIR filed in North Nazimabad police station yesterday.
After the expiration of the 90 days the remand Rangers, Dr. Asim Hussain, former federal minister and the provincial president of the Higher Education Commission (HEC), has shifted to Gulberg police station moments after midnight on increased surveillance.
The FIR-197/2015 was filed against former oil minister for the Rangers Superintendent Sub-Inspector Muhammad Durrani Inayatullah.
The FIR also includes the names of the leaders of MQM including Anis Qaimkhani, Wasim Akhter, Rauf Siddiqui and Saleem Shahzad.
According to the FIR, the accused treated the wounded Lyari gangsters and political activists in their hospitals at the request of the leaders of the MQM and PPP leader Qadir Patel.
The FIR also explains the leader of the PPP gave refuge to criminals, murderers and terrorists objectives enshrined in its hospitals, under the guise of providing medical treatment.
